Founded in 1921, the school is the oldest coeducational, Catholic, secondary, college preparatory school in the Archdiocese of Washington. St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary shares in the mission of Jesus Christ "to bring the good news to the poor" (Luke 4:18) in the training of future leaders. St. Vincent de Pauls Scholarship Program has been driving systemic change for over 20 years by helping transform the lives of first-generation college students. Recipients are required to participate in events determined by supervisors in the Office of Multicultural Student Success, including participation as a S.T.A.R.S. Financial need is determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). No scholarship application is required. Students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement may receive a larger award. However, it can be applied for on a yearly basis. Ozanam Scholars receive up to a $10,000 scholarship renewable annually for the four-year program.
