Off I went AGAIN, and advised that we had not received cutlery. The meals were all brought out very quickly and were hot which was good. Lovely place - good value if you dont get overcharged! First time at forest hall Sambucas and can honestly say I was more than disappointed. We throw a party---a really great party--for our guests every night! The whole experience was laughable from start to finish, complete shambles, place has really gone down hill over the last few years. Do you have any gluten free options please? Shame really as we really liked this restaurant but it's not the first time the restaurant has been cold. The staff were great, the food was lovely (the special starter of scallops was amazing) the restaurant had a great atmosphere, whats not to like! It had clearly been reheated and was practically welded to the dish. Our nightly live music will engage our guests in the energetic vibe of the restaurant, reminding them to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. The food was beautiful and so reasonably priced, I highly recommend the Tagliatelle con Cozze, really tasty and my mum's chicken dish was beautifully presented with edible flowerson the plate. 20 minutes later we were directed to a table with 2 chairs . Manager started being nice when he saw how young my 5 week old baby was. another 20 minutes passed by which time we had a fit of giggles when my daughter suggested we face plant into the desserts and eat them like that. My cheesecake was stale, and the two portions of red velvet cake were STALE. The remaining dishes judging by the clean plates were good.
