The NESCAC Colleges | Go4Ivy.com This close relationship between students and faculty can lead to a more engaged and rewarding academic experience. In fact, the triumvirate of Williams, Amherst, and Swarthmore (not a member of the NESCAC but of the Pennsylvania-based Centennial Conference) is generally regarded as the holy trinity of liberal arts colleges. But having resources has made it so much easier. I especially liked looking at the rankings for different aspects of the college experience, like the campus, academics, and much more! All of these schools have a strong commitment to undergraduate education, which means that they prioritize teaching and learning in small class settings.
We know a recent bio major who was going on to med school. By keeping these factors in mind, below are the ranks of the NESCAC schools academically. We ranked it just below Tufts on our list simply because it doesnt have the same name recognition or the same national (or even regional) cachet. Lafayette and Franklin & Marshall, both also in PA would also be similar. Middle 50% SAT/ACT: 1400-1510 SAT, 32-35 ACT. There are various rankings of the schools in the NESCAC but which one is reliable is the question of discussion, however, we have ranked the best schools in the NESCAC on the basis of their academics which is considered the best way to rank the colleges.
